Rebuilt from scratch. No original files.
Five interpretive signages at Katong Park had deteriorated significantly over time. No original design files existed. Each panel was reconstructed entirely from scratch, working from the physical installed signage as the only reference.
The restoration involved sourcing archival black-and-white photographs from the National Archives of Singapore and recolouring them to bring the historical imagery back to life. Some diagrams had to be reconstructed from scratch. The National Heritage Board logo was updated across all five panels, and layout inconsistencies across the series were resolved to bring the set into visual consistency, while preserving the original design intent and heritage character of the panels.
